A short list of terms used on this site and in the traditions we draw on.

Boggart: A household spirit that can be helpful or mischievous; often confused with bogwarts, which are bog-dwellers.

Bogwart: A goblin of the bog or marsh. See Bogwart.

Gray Lady: A type of female ghost in a gray or silver dress. See The Gray Lady.

Veil: The boundary between the living world and the realm of spirits. See The Veil.

Ward: An object or symbol used to protect a place from unwanted spirits.
