Wards and Sigils

People have long used symbols, objects, and gestures to ward off or appease spirits. Horseshoes over the door, iron nails, salt on the threshold, and certain carved signs are among the most common. We document these as folklore, not as instruction. We do not endorse or discourage any practice.
